Bon jour! It's time to travel again. Mary Alice (MA) and I are presently in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Ft Lauderdale. We left home Saturday around 9am and got to IAH in plenty of time. We always allow for emergencies and delays but there were none. We did hear about the big storm late yesterday afternoon in Houston. Hope everybody was spared any flooding.
Sometimes MA takes after her daughter-in-law Sue in that she's never met a stranger. As a result we already know several couples who are going on the cruise, some at the airport and some in the hotel.
This is a trans-Atlantic cruise. We did this last year and ended up in Copenhagen. This year we're going the southern direction and visiting some Mediterranean ports; Gibaraltar, Cartagena (Spain), Barcelona, Marseilles (France), Naples, and Rome. The first five or six days are sea days and I'll just write about what we do on the ship. I hope you will follow us as we travel to Rome. See ya.
What happened to Tanner? Good question. He is staying with his Rescue mom, Susan L, who lives in Cypress. She was so kind to care for him while we are gone. Thank you Susan and God bless.
